She Sees Sea Shells

January 2013

A nephew asked me if I planned to do outdoor winter photography this year. “No”, I answered. “This year I plan to stay inside.” Little did I know that the winter of 2012-2013, at least through mid-January, would be mostly snowless in northeastern Illinois. Plans or not, there has been little outside that I am motivated to photograph. So, I found some stuff inside – my small collection of shells.

Generally, these are unidentified shells. I acquired some of them on Sanibel Island in Florida several years ago.
