The Morton Arboretum has an exhibit of 11 “animal houses”, more whimsical than representative, all built to human scale. We visited them all, and there are photographs of most of them on these pages. The arboretum located the houses at the Visitor Center, at a wetland, at a woodland, and at a prairie, which is also how I arranged these 4 pages.
Also at the Visitor Center, we found a dinosaur that was on loan from Brookfield Zoo.
