In 2010, Bill suggested that I needed a “real camera”. We went shopping and after
I got over my shock at the price of a real camera, we bought a Nikon DSLR (Digital
Single Lens Reflex) for me to use. With the idea of taking “better” pictures I signed
up for some classes and also joined a nature photography club.
A month or so ago, my friend, Gail, from the photo club sent me 5 pictures of Bill
(a.k.a. my sherpa) and me on various photo club excursions. Those pictures are the
inspiration for this web page.

My thought – “Late February, cannot be all that cold”, so I signed up. I was wrong.
It was seriously cold.
