Our shadow followed us across fields and past housing developments.
We saw the area south of Plainfield from a completely different point of view.
And our shadow stayed with us.
We were also fascinated by the reflection of the balloon in the water.
All good adventures end. Our destination was the Joliet airport. We got close, but did not quite make it. Instead, we landed on a country road between the airport and Route 55 where we helped the pilot and his ground crew pack up the balloon.

While the chase crew and some passengers helped on the outside.
