Tulum is the site of a pre-Columbian Mayan walled city located along the east coast of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. It is the only significant site where a Mayan city is located on a coast. This coastal location makes Tulum a convenient destination for tourists from the cruise ships and from hotels on the Mayan Riviera.
Bill thought the sun was too hot, so he stayed in the shade as much as possible. I, on the other hand, enjoyed exploring the ruins.
