the charming parks and architecture.

First African Baptist Church - the oldest African Christian church in North America.
Located in Franklin Square: This statue commemorates the largest unit of soldiers
of African descent who fought in the American Revolution. They were the “Les Chasseurs
Volontaires de Saint Domingue” from Haiti.
