Waikiki is Hawaiian for beautiful waters. Despite the extreme commercialism of the area, the beach and the waters are truly beautiful.
These three pages show some views and activities that were unlike our other trips to the Hawaiian Islands. Page 1 shows some views of Waikiki on the island of Oahu. Page 2 documents an adventure that Bill and I had on the island of Kauai. The pictures on page 3 are of a coffee plantation on the island of Kauai.
Since I had a large number of "frequent sleeper points" with Mariott, we stayed for a brief two days at a Mariott hotel on the Waikiki beach. Since I was a platinum card holder, Mariott put us on one of the highest floors with an outstanding view of Waikiki beach.
