The island of Kaua段 has a different atmosphere than O誕hu. Kaua段 is laid-back, casual, and rural.
Nene family: Nenes are Hawaiian geese related to Canadian geese. They are endangered
and were only found on the big island and on Maui. Some years ago, populations of
Nenes were introduced to Kaua段 where they are doing well. I found this family at
Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge. The Nene is the Hawaiian state bird.
