Fey Canyon in the foothills of the Secret Mountain Wilderness is north of Sedona. You may remember a landscape image of the Secret Mountain Wilderness on the previous page.
This was the “easy” path that we followed up the canyon.
Park Service check-in
The Sedona Airport sits on a mesa high above Sedona. While aircraft are interesting enough, the mesa, with two scenic overlooks, is also a good place to view scenic sunsets. Unfortunately, a good number of other people, most with cameras, had the same idea. It was a mob scene.
I said, “Look, there is the moon.” Half the people on the overlook wheeled around
and started photographing the rising moon.
