Ornamental Kale
People frequently plant ornamental kale in their fall gardens. These kales, there are several varieties, are colorful. They survive frost and even a light covering of snow.
The camera club gets together to photograph stuff from time to time. I joined their excursion to Cantigny; the idea being that the formal gardens at Cantigny always have nice flowers. We were not disappointed.

There were mums planted in many of the flower beds.
These peppers added some very bright color.
