Boat Dock
After touring the Alexander Graham Bell museum, the big blue bus dropped us off at the Inverary Resort. We checked in, freshened up, unpacked some stuff, and then went for a boat ride on the Bras d'Or Lake with Dick and Carol.
Bras d'Or Lake is a large salt-water fjord with several small connections to the Atlantic Ocean. It apparently got its name because the early French settlers thought that the lake had a golden appearance at sunset.

We circled a small island. Note the lighthouse. There were two families of nesting
bald eagles on the island. We saw two of these magnificant birds.
